Caring for our land, supporting our people, acting with integrity.
A long-term commitment, put into practice every day.
Our approach
Sustainability shapes how we farm, manage our facilities and work with others. Our long-term success depends on healthy soils, responsible resource use and the people and communities connected to our business.
We combine practical action with a commitment to continuous improvement: protecting the land, supporting our people, strengthening local partnerships and conducting business with integrity.

Environmental Stewardship
Protecting the land that sustains us.
Our farming operations depend on healthy soils, responsible water management and resilient ecosystems. We combine conservation practices, field monitoring and precision agriculture to protect natural resources and preserve productive land for future generations.
We have practised no-till farming since 1998. Retaining crop residues, rotating crops and planting cover crops when conditions permit help protect soil structure, conserve moisture and maintain fertility.
Our soil-conservation programme covers approximately 17,000 hectares of company-owned farmland, including terracing and runoff-management systems. Ongoing maintenance and monitoring help keep these systems effective. Regular soil analyses guide agronomic decisions and help us track soil conditions over time.

02 — Our People
Our people
Supporting the people behind our business.
Our people bring the knowledge, care and commitment that keep Cono growing. We work to provide safe, fair and respectful workplaces, support employee well-being and create opportunities for learning and development.
We work to prevent injuries and occupational illness through risk assessments, job-specific training, workplace monitoring, emergency drills and appropriate protective equipment. Regular safety meetings bring employees and management together to review concerns and improve working practices.
Our support also includes private healthcare, preventive health campaigns and improvements to employee accommodation in Córdoba and Santiago del Estero. We invest in working and living conditions that support the everyday well-being of our teams.

03 — Our Communities
Our communities
Helping build stronger rural communities.
The communities around our farms and facilities are part of who we are. We focus our support on food security, education and the development of the local agricultural sector, working through long-term relationships with food banks, schools, universities and industry partners.
We work with food banks, including Banco de Alimentos de Córdoba, to support access to nutritious food through donations of chickpeas and beans.
Products suitable for human consumption are set aside for donation, helping reduce food waste while supporting families and local organisations.

04 — Governance
Governance & ethics
Acting with integrity and accountability.
Clear responsibilities, ethical conduct and respect for people guide how we do business. We strengthen these foundations through leadership oversight, documented policies, employee training and accessible channels for raising concerns.
Executive management sets the direction for sustainability, allocates resources and coordinates action across the business, with oversight from the Board.
Our Sustainability Coordinator brings together work across agriculture, operations, human resources and other functions. Responsibilities sit with the teams closest to each activity, supported by policies, monitoring and regular review.
